Your truck’s electrical system might have been affected negatively by any number of things: being started on especially cold days, the cold weather thickening your oil and making it more difficult to flow, even the chemicals found in deicers utilized on highways. All of these things can lead to issues in your electrical system, so it’s important to bring it in to get checked if you don’t know how to check it yourself.

Finally, you should really consider getting your brakes checked each spring. It’s the perfect time for a check up, especially because winter conditions can exacerbate wear and tear and cause other issues. You should be getting your brakes checked fairly regularly, so making spring one such time is advised.
