What Will the Teaser Reveal?

The brief trailer entitled “Unveiling Soon” gives a sense of limitless exploration in a mere 8 seconds. The teaser begins with a panning view of a fascinating forest with an overlay stating, “Nowhere is Out There.” GM seems to be insinuating that “out there” could be anywhere when you are driving the 2023 GMC Canyon. It continues with wide views of breathtaking landscapes and ends with the phrase, “Find Yours.” Upon closer inspection, it appears to be an extremely small 2023 GMC Canyon out amongst the plain just waiting to be found. The video leaves the viewer wondering what’s next?

Important Updates and Comparisons

At this moment, GM has provided few in depth details about the 2023 GMC Canyon lineup, but the updates revealed are significant. GM has confirmed the new 2023 GMC Canyon AT4X will be an upgraded off-road trim that has 10.7 inches of ground clearance. Additionally, its 33 inches of mud terrain tires help it stand firm next to its competitors, the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2, Ford Ranger, Nissan Frontier, and Toyota Tacoma.

Riding Off Road in Style

This 2023 GMC Canyon has been revised with a new tough exterior for all the key exterior panels. Front and rear-facing underbody cameras and 17-inch beadlock capable wheels.

Inside the pick up truck’s cabin will be a revamped design and styling that could be similar to the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado.

The 2023 Canyon comes standard with:

• A newly positioned gear shift
• Detailed leather seats
• 8.0-inch digital gauge cluster
• 6.3-inch head up display
• A Bose audio stereo system

Powerful Engine Specifications

Under the hood will have a turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine that transforms power to an 8 speed automatic transmission.

The L3B will have several states of tuning:

• 237 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque
• 310 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque
• 310 horsepower and 430 pound feet of torque
