2022 Buick Enclave Retrofits Heated Seats
Heated Seats and Much More
The 2022 Buick Enclave has been retrofitted after a year of uncertainty due to parts shortages for many automakers and dealerships. The recent constraint on heated seats has been resolved and is in regular capacity for the Enclave Essence, Premium and Avenir.

An Unforeseen Shortage
Automakers were in distress when the semiconductor chips were in low supply in 2021. During this period, General Motors had to halt electric features from models to meet the demand. The heated and ventilated front seats, in addition to the heated rear outboard seats, were eliminated from the Buick Enclave, Encore GX and Envision models. Today, all Buick Enclaves will include the standard heated seats and GM will retrofit those who received a previous year’s model without them. Those affected vehicles can be serviced through a GM’s customer satisfaction program.

With a relatively low starting price of $44,900 MSRP, the 2022 Buick Enclave is less expensive than its competitors, the 2022 models of Acura MDX at $48,000 and BMW X3 at $45,400.
