The 1969 Buick Riviera Restomod Stuns Crowd

Husband-and-wife duo Mario and Nora have officially joined the exclusive Imperials Car Club after their 1969 Buick Riviera claimed top prize at 2022 Hot Wheels Legends Tours in El Segundo on July 30, 2022. The low-rider community welcomed them with respect and admiration after witnessing their four year rebuild.

Customizing the 1969 Buick Riviera

The pagan gold painted 1969 Riviera is hard not to notice. This car project of love is a customization with endless possibilities. This low-rider boasts a sleek design with shaved body moulding, hydraulic suspension, and an upscale interior. Powered by a Buick 430 V8 engine with 360 horsepower, 475 lb-ft of torque and a 7.0-liter colossus that shocked each onlooker. 

Its detailed trunk is used to hold a pagan gold and chrome hydraulic suspension system. While the interior beams with chocolate brown and cream leather with pagan gold finish accents. This restomod will be seen and heard from miles away!

2022 Hot Wheels Legends Tour

Annual traveling car show, 2022 Hot Wheels Legends Tour continues to fascinate thousands of attendees and admirers nationwide. Builders work diligently for years to join this premier show in the hopes of claiming top prize. Winners of each leg must compete against each other in the semi-finals to gain an ultimate opportunity to have their car turned into a 1/64 scale Hot Wheels model. These toy models will be distributed to several retails stores, including Walmart, and online in the United States.
